Tar paper in rolls

Tar paper is an effective waterproofing tool, it is suitable for packaging and especially for the packaging of goods intended for shipment and transport by sea.

It is applied to coat the inside of wooden packaging and is resistant to water and moisture.

Tar paper is available in rolls of different sizes which are: 80cm, 100cm or 120cm height.

These are the standard, most commonly used sizes. It is possible to request custom production with sizes and metrics according to the customer’s specifications. We can, upon request, produce rolls with different laminated materials.

Tar paper is applied to wooden crates through the use of specific tools, either manual or automatic:

For ‘manual application, specific hammers are used to fasten the paper.
To speed up fixing operations, it is recommended to use a pneumatic stapler because it is more performing, in terms of application speed thanks also to a constant “firing” force.

Tar paper is usually created by coupling two sheets of crepe paper in the middle of which is applied a layer of tar and a longitudinal weave of nylon threads. Overall, it is an effective tool for lining shipping crates and packaging.
